Part-Time Math Instructor/Tutor

Mathnasium is seeking a Part-Time Math Instructor/Tutor to provide individualized math instruction to students in grades K-12. Using the Mathnasium Method, you will guide students through customized learning plans, explain concepts clearly, and support homework and test preparation. You'll assess student understanding, track progress, and communicate with the Center Director and families as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy math, mentoring, and working with children in a structured, student-centered learning environment with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized math instruction to K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method
• Implement customized learning plans and adjust instruction based on student needs
• Support students with homework, test preparation, and foundational skill-building
• Assess student understanding and track progress regularly
• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and focused learning environment
• Communicate student progress and concerns to the Center Director
• Follow Mathnasium curriculum, training, and center procedures
• Accurately record student work, attendance, and performance data
• Collaborate with team members to improve instruction and student outcomes
• Uphold safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct standards in the center
