Registered Nurse Float Specialty

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple hospital units based on staffing needs
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care, assessments, and outcomes in the EHR in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
• Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
