Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced, team-based setting. The RN performs rapid triage, assessment, and evidence-based interventions for diverse, high-acuity patients while collaborating with physicians and allied professionals. Responsibilities include medication administration, cardiac and respiratory monitoring, emergency response, patient education, and accurate EHR documentation. Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations across all acuity levels
  • Perform rapid triage, ongoing assessment, and implement physician-ordered treatments and interventions
  • Administer medications, start IVs, and manage cardiac and respiratory monitoring equipment
  • Respond to trauma activations, codes, and other emergent situations as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care and disposition
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR in a timely manner
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and follow-up care
  • Follow strict infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards to ensure a safe care environment
  • Support quality improvement, evidence-based practice projects, and departmental initiatives
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, competencies, and required certifications
