Class A Backhaul Driver

Core-Mark is seeking a Class A Backhaul Driver to support our wholesale distribution network in the convenience retail industry. In this role, you will operate Class A tractor-trailers to complete safe, efficient backhaul routes from customer locations to Core-Mark facilities. You'll handle loading and unloading freight, complete accurate DOT-compliant logs, and maintain thorough vehicle inspections. Working closely with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers, you'll ensure on-time returns and uphold our customer-first, safety-focused culture while representing Core-Mark with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to complete safe and timely backhaul routes from customer locations to Core-Mark facilities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
• Secure, load, and unload freight while following Core-Mark and customer safety and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customers to resolve route or delivery issues
• Follow all federal, state, and company regulations regarding hours of service, safety, and equipment use
• Handle delivery paperwork, manifests, and returns accurately and on time
• Report equipment issues, delays, and incidents promptly to supervision
• Support a customer-first culture through professional conduct and service on every route
