Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a healthcare team.
• Prescribe medication and monitor its effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Offer psychoeducation to patients and their families to enhance understanding of psychiatric conditions and treatment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Stay current with advancements in the field to best serve the patient population.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to provide insights from a psychiatric perspective.
