Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with various mental and emotional disorders.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or coordinate treatment, drawing on social and medical services as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and records of therapy sessions in compliance with applicable legal and ethical codes.
• Participate in continuing education, workshops, or seminars to stay current with new developments in psychology and therapy practices.
• Help patients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their disorders or to modify their behavior to cope more effectively with their situations.
