Assistant Teacher

The Learning Experience Corp in Miramar, FL is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support our play-based early childhood programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. In this role, you will assist Lead Teachers with implementing curriculum, supervising children, and maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom. You will help prepare learning materials, support social-emotional development, and communicate daily with families about children's progress. Working in our caring, community-focused center, you'll collaborate with teammates, receive ongoing training, and build valuable hands-on experience in early childhood education and child care best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teachers in daily classroom activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Assist with implementing play-based curriculum and learning centers
• Supervise children to ensure safety, wellbeing, and positive behavior
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning resources
• Support children's social-emotional development and school readiness skills
• Communicate daily with families about routines and child progress as directed
• Maintain clean, orderly, and health-compliant classroom spaces
• Follow center policies, licensing regulations, and safety procedures
• Participate in training, meetings, and professional development
• Collaborate with team members to create a caring, inclusive classroom environment
