The Learning Experience in Mesa, AZ seeks an Assistant Teacher to support high quality early childhood education in our daycare, preschool, and pre-K classrooms. You will help implement our structured curriculum, supervise children to ensure safety, and foster social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson activities, classroom preparation, behavior guidance, and daily routines such as meals and rest time. Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for daycare, preschool, and pre-K children
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development in a nurturing, child-centered environment
  • Supervise children at all times to ensure health, safety, and adherence to center policies
  • Prepare, organize, and clean classroom spaces, learning materials, and activity areas
  • Assist with daily routines, including arrival, meals, toileting support, and rest time transitions
  • Use positive behavior guidance strategies and model respectful interactions
  • Communicate professionally and warmly with families about children's daily experiences as directed by lead teachers
  • Collaborate with center staff to support a cohesive, team-oriented environment
  • Document observations of children's participation and development for teacher reference
  • Participate in ongoing training on curriculum, safety, and early childhood best practices
