VPK Teacher

The Learning Experience in St. Cloud, FL is seeking a caring VPK Teacher to lead a pre-kindergarten classroom for 4-5 year olds. In this role, you will plan and deliver standards-based, play-focused lessons that support early literacy, math, social-emotional, and motor skills. You will create a safe, engaging classroom, manage routines, and maintain an organized learning environment. The VPK Teacher builds strong partnerships with families through daily communication and progress updates, works closely with teammates, follows state VPK guidelines, and upholds all health, safety, and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate VPK curriculum for 4-5 year olds
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children's cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development
• Assess and document children's progress toward VPK learning goals
• Communicate daily with families about activities and child progress
• Maintain classroom organization, routines, and behavior expectations
• Collaborate with co-teachers and center staff as part of a team
• Follow state VPK guidelines and center policies
• Uphold all health, safety, and licensing requirements
• Participate in trainings and professional development as required
