VPK Teacher

The Learning Experience Corp is seeking a dedicated VPK Teacher to lead engaging pre-kindergarten classrooms for 4-5-year-olds. In this role, you will implement our proprietary early childhood curriculum, focusing on kindergarten readiness, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. You will design age-appropriate lesson plans, assess developmental progress, and differentiate instruction to support diverse learners. The VPK Teacher maintains a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom, fostering creativity and curiosity. You will collaborate closely with families, follow licensing and safety standards, and participate in ongoing training and professional development within our child-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate VPK lessons aligned to curriculum and state standards
• Promote kindergarten readiness in literacy, math, and social-emotional domains
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and document children's developmental progress and adjust instruction
• Communicate regularly with families about student growth and classroom activities
• Maintain compliance with state VPK regulations and licensing requirements
• Implement health, safety, and cleanliness procedures in the classroom
• Collaborate with center staff on events, transitions, and enrichment activities
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities
• Use classroom materials and technology to enhance learning and engagement
