Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver

SDS-Rx seeks a Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver to provide secure, time-sensitive transport of prescriptions and medical supplies to pharmacies, hospitals, and labs. In this fast-paced, mission-critical role, you will follow assigned routes, load and unload packages, verify orders, and maintain accurate delivery records. You must strictly follow HIPAA, DOT, and company safety/compliance standards, including temperature control and chain-of-custody procedures. The position requires excellent customer service, reliable communication, and accountability while operating a vehicle safely and efficiently throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to complete scheduled pharmaceutical delivery routes
• Pick up, transport, and deliver prescriptions and medical supplies to pharmacies, hospitals, and labs
• Verify orders, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate delivery and chain-of-custody records
• Follow all HIPAA, DOT, and company safety and compliance policies and procedures
• Maintain temperature control and secure handling of sensitive or controlled medications
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and facility staff regarding ETAs and issues
• Inspect vehicle for basic safety and cleanliness before and after routes
• Report delays, incidents, or discrepancies promptly to supervisors or dispatch
• Use routing tools or apps to follow optimized routes and meet time-sensitive delivery windows
• Represent SDS-Rx with professional customer service and reliability on every stop
