Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver

SDS-Rx seeks a reliable Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver to provide time-sensitive, secure delivery of prescriptions, medical supplies, and lab items to pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare facilities. In this fast-paced, mission-critical role, you will follow assigned routes, maintain delivery logs, and ensure strict chain-of-custody, HIPAA, and safety compliance. You will verify orders, load and unload products with care, and provide professional customer service at every stop. Drivers must follow DOT and company policies, handle temperature-sensitive items, and promptly report issues to dispatch to support safe, on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver prescriptions and medical supplies to pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare facilities
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time, last-mile deliveries
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and chain-of-custody records
• Verify order accuracy, obtain signatures, and document deliveries in handheld systems or apps
• Comply with HIPAA, DOT, and company safety and security policies
• Handle, load, and unload packages carefully, including temperature-sensitive items
• Inspect vehicle for basic safety and cleanliness before and after routes
• Communicate promptly with dispatch about delays, issues, or route changes
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at all delivery locations
• Follow all traffic laws and drive safely in a variety of conditions
