Infant & Toddler Preschool Teacher

Georgetown Hill Early School seeks Infant & Toddler Preschool Teachers to nurture our youngest learners in a warm, play-based environment. In this full-time role, you will design and lead developmentally appropriate activities that support social-emotional growth, early language, and motor skills. You will create safe, engaging classrooms, partner closely with families, and collaborate with a supportive teaching team. We offer training in research-informed curriculum, opportunities to grow into lead or specialist roles, and a collaborative, child-centered school community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement play-based, developmentally appropriate lessons for infants and toddlers.
• Provide attentive, safe care including feeding, diapering, and rest routines.
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom that supports social-emotional development.
• Observe and document children's growth to inform instruction and share with families.
• Communicate regularly with parents about daily activities and developmental progress.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and administrators on curriculum and classroom practices.
• Maintain compliance with Maryland childcare licensing and school policies.
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings to enhance teaching skills.
