Infant & Toddler Preschool Teacher

Georgetown Hill Early School seeks Infant & Toddler Preschool Teachers to nurture our youngest learners in a play-based, child-centered environment. In this role, you will plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, ensure safe and loving caregiving routines, and support social-emotional growth for infants and toddlers. You will collaborate closely with co-teachers, engage families as partners, observe and document progress, and uphold licensing and health standards while contributing to a warm, inclusive school community with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead play-based, developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers.
• Provide safe, nurturing caregiving routines including feeding, diapering, and rest time.
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports social-emotional growth.
• Observe, document, and communicate children's progress to families and school leadership.
• Collaborate with co-teachers to align curriculum, routines, and behavior guidance.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Engage families as partners through daily communication and periodic conferences.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials, learning centers, and sensory experiences.
• Support transitions for children throughout the day, ensuring smooth routines.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school events and community.
