Swim Instructor

WeAquatics is seeking a Swim Instructor for our One Life Ft. Totten location. In this role, you'll teach small-group and private swim lessons to infants, children, and adults, focusing on water safety, proper technique, and confidence building. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate lessons, managing safe, engaging sessions, communicating progress with families, and upholding our high safety standards. You'll work in a supportive, mission-driven team environment with training in proven swim methodologies and opportunities to grow your teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging swim lessons for infants, children, and adults
• Teach water safety skills and proper stroke technique
• Plan and adapt lessons for diverse ages and skill levels
• Monitor swimmers closely to maintain a safe pool environment
• Communicate progress and feedback to parents and caregivers
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism for all scheduled classes
• Support a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere
