Bilingual Preschool Teacher

Georgetown Hill Early School seeks Bilingual Preschool Teachers to provide warm, play-based learning for young children in a dual-language environment. In this full-time role, you will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate bilingual lessons that foster social-emotional growth, early literacy, and numeracy. You will collaborate with a supportive teaching team, communicate regularly with families, and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom. We offer a child-centered, research-informed curriculum, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow into lead or specialist roles within our Maryland school community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based bilingual lessons for preschool children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports social-emotional growth.
• Assess and document children's progress in early literacy, numeracy, and language development.
• Communicate regularly with families about child progress, classroom activities, and school events.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to implement research-informed, play-based curricula.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles, abilities, and language levels.
• Maintain classroom organization, safety standards, and compliance with licensing regulations.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school community events.
