Production Supervisor

A. O. Smith seeks a Production Supervisor to lead on-site manufacturing operations for water heating and treatment products. In this role, you will oversee production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and output goals are consistently met in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate schedules, allocate resources, and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality to resolve issues. The supervisor drives continuous improvement, supports lean and 5S initiatives, coaches employees, and promotes a culture of integrity, performance, and innovation within our stable, global manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production teams to meet safety, quality, and output targets
• Coordinate daily manufacturing schedules and allocate labor and equipment
• Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies
• Train, coach, and evaluate production operators and leads
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality to resolve issues

• Maintain accurate production, attendance, and performance records
