LifeStance Health seeks a compassionate Psychiatrist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for diverse patient populations via both in-person and telehealth visits. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for adult and/or child and adolescent patients.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, including medication management and supportive interventions.
- Provide ongoing medication follow-up visits via in-person and telehealth platforms, monitoring response, side effects, and safety.
- Perform suicide risk and crisis assessments, implementing appropriate safety planning and higher levels of care when needed.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, psychologists, advanced practice providers, and primary care clinicians to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
- Communicate regularly with patients and families to provide education about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management.
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and quality or performance improvement initiatives within the practice.
- Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations, including prescribing, privacy, and documentation requirements.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain board certification, licensure, and up-to-date clinical knowledge.
