Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist

Physicians Care, a nonprofit clinic serving uninsured adults in Cobb County, seeks a Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist to deliver high-quality, compassionate imaging services. This role performs limited scope X-rays under provider orders, ensuring accurate positioning, image quality, and strict radiation safety. The technologist supports patient education, maintains equipment and infection control, and documents in the EMR. Responsibilities

• Perform limited license X-ray exams per provider orders and state regulations
• Ensure radiation safety, proper shielding, and equipment quality control
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures
• Verify patient identity and exam orders; document in EMR accurately
• Collaborate with providers and nurses to support patient diagnosis and care
• Maintain clean, safe exam rooms and adhere to infection control standards
• Assist with patient flow, scheduling, and basic clinical tasks as needed
• Support Physicians Care's mission of compassionate service to uninsured adults
