Radiology Technician

Physicians Care, a nonprofit clinic serving uninsured adults in Cobb County, seeks a Radiology Technician to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for our healthcare and medical services department. In this on-site role, you will prepare and position patients, operate imaging equipment, ensure radiation safety, and accurately document procedures in our EHR. You'll collaborate with a compassionate care team to support medical, dental, and pharmacy services, helping reduce ER visits and improve community health in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams following physician orders and safety protocols
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for radiologic procedures
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring high-quality images
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff on patient care
• Document procedures and update electronic health records accurately
• Support a compassionate, patient-centered environment for underserved adults
