Advanced Radiologic Technologist

Physicians Care, a nonprofit clinic serving uninsured adults in Cobb County, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a compassionate, community-focused setting. You will perform radiographic exams, ensure radiation safety, and collaborate with providers to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include patient preparation and positioning, operating imaging equipment, maintaining image quality and documentation, and adhering to infection control and safety standards. This on-site role offers the opportunity to impact underserved patients while working with a dedicated, mission-driven healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic exams following physician orders and protocols
• Operate radiologic equipment safely, ensuring optimal image quality
• Apply radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self
• Prepare, position, and instruct patients to ensure accurate imaging and comfort
• Verify patient identity and exam orders; document procedures in EMRCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, minor troubleshooting, and quality control checks
• Follow infection prevention and clinic safety policies at all times
• Educate patients about procedures and provide compassionate care
• Support clinic workflow, including helping in other areas as needed
