Urgent Team is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, support clinical staff, and ensure patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced urgent and family care setting. You'll work collaboratively with providers and nurses to deliver timely, accurate results while maintaining strict adherence to safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams according to provider orders and established protocols
- Position and prepare patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and accurate imaging
- Operate and troubleshoot digital radiography equipment and related imaging systems (PACS/RIS)
- Apply radiation safety principles and protective measures for patients, self, and staff, following ALARA guidelines
- Verify patient identity, review orders, and confirm the correct procedure prior to imaging
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and repeat studies only when clinically necessary
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record and imaging systems
- Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff regarding exam status or concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging suite, adhering to infection control and sterilization protocols
- Perform basic equipment quality control checks and report any equipment issues promptly
- Support patient flow by assisting with rooming, vitals, and basic clinical tasks as directed by providers
- Provide clear explanations and reassurance to patients and families throughout the imaging process
- Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance in all interactions and documentation
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives

- Venipuncture for contrast (if applicable by state)
- Basic life support (BLS)
