Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols
  • Verify patient identity, history, and screening for MRI safety contraindications
  • Educate and prepare patients, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns
  • Administer and monitor contrast agents per policy and provider orders
  • Operate MRI scanners, coils, and related imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to optimize image quality and workflow
  • Maintain accurate documentation in PACS/RIS and electronic health records
  • Adhere to MRI safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement, equipment checks, and troubleshooting
  • Support Legacy Health's mission, patient-first culture, and community-focused initiatives
