Radiology Technologist

Physicians Care, a nonprofit clinic serving uninsured adults in Cobb County, seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform high quality diagnostic imaging in a compassionate, community-focused setting. In this onsite role, you will conduct radiographic exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, follow radiation protection standards, and accurately document results in our EMR/PACS systems. You will collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to support integrated medical, dental, and pharmacy services while helping reduce avoidable ER visits and improve community health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams according to physician orders
• Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safety and comfort
• Apply radiation safety standards to protect patients, self, and staff
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment and imaging software
• Accurately document exams in EMR/PACS and follow clinic protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to coordinate patient care
• Support a compassionate environment for uninsured and underserved patients
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements at all times
