Radiology Technologist

Urgent Team is seeking an ARRT Radiology Technologist for our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, support providers with patient assessments, and ensure accurate documentation in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You'll educate patients on procedures, maintain equipment and safety standards, and collaborate closely with a supportive clinical team. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and limited-scope X-ray examinations according to provider orders and scope of licensure
• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate radiographic equipment and digital imaging/PACS systems in compliance with protocols and manufacturer guidelines
• Apply radiation safety principles (ALARA) and use appropriate shielding for patients and staff
• Verify patient identity, review orders, and explain procedures to patients and families
• Assess image quality and repeat studies only when clinically necessary and appropriate
• Follow infection control and OSHA standards, maintaining a clean and safe imaging and clinical environment
• Assist with basic clinical duties such as vital signs, rooming patients, and preparing exam rooms, as needed
• Accurately document procedures, findings, and patient information in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and front-office staff to support efficient patient flow and excellent service
• Participate in ongoing training, competency assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and continuing education for radiologic practice
