ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist

Physicians Care, a nonprofit clinic serving uninsured adults in Cobb County, seeks a Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging. In this role, you'll perform radiographic and limited license X-ray exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and follow ARRT and state guidelines. You'll collaborate with physicians and clinic staff, support patient flow, and maintain accurate imaging records. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and limited license X-ray exams following ARRT and state guidelines
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout imaging
• Operate, calibrate, and care for radiology equipment, reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Verify patient identity, review orders, and ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed
• Maintain accurate digital imaging records, documentation, and exam logs in clinic systems
• Follow radiation safety standards, including proper shielding and dose minimization practices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to support coordinated patient care
• Assist with basic clinical tasks and patient flow in a fast-paced nonprofit clinic setting
• Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA and clinic policies at all times
• Support quality improvement and infection control practices within the radiology area
