Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist

Physicians Care, a nonprofit clinic serving uninsured adults in Cobb County, seeks a Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports compassionate, community-focused care. In this onsite role, you will conduct limited scope X-rays, ensure patient comfort and radiation safety, maintain imaging equipment, and accurately document results in the EHR. You'll collaborate closely with medical, dental, and pharmacy teams in a supportive environment dedicated to improving health outcomes and reducing ER visits for underserved patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited scope radiographic exams under physician supervision
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety
• Apply strict radiation safety and infection control standards
• Verify orders, document exams, and update EHR accurately
• Coordinate with medical providers to support diagnosis and care plans
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and exam rooms
• Educate patients on procedures and follow-up instructions
• Support front- and back-office clinical workflows as needed
