Radiologic Technologist

Ascension is seeking Radiologic Technologists to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. In this role, you will operate radiographic equipment, position patients safely, and follow radiation safety standards while collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other care team members. You will verify orders, prepare and educate patients, manage imaging records using PACS, and support a diverse patient population. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per provider orders
• Position and prepare patients while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate X-ray and related imaging equipment following protocols
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards
• Verify patient identity and exam orders; document accurately
• Use PACS/RIS and EHR systems to manage and store images
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams
• Assist with contrast administration per policy and training
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms in readiness
• Support continuous improvement and learning initiatives
