Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist

Ascension is seeking an ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. In this role, you will perform radiographic exams, ensure accurate patient positioning, and follow strict radiation safety and infection control standards. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and care teams, maintain accurate EMR documentation, and support patient education to ease anxiety. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and limited license X-ray exams according to physician orders and protocols
• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety
• Apply radiation safety standards and ALARA principles for patients, self, and staff
• Operate and troubleshoot digital radiography and related imaging equipment
• Verify patient identity, obtain clinical history, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records in the EMR system
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians to support care plans
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
• Monitor image quality and repeat studies only when clinically necessary
• Participate in ongoing education and skills development offered by Ascension
