Radiology Technologist

Baptist Urgent Care seeks Radiology Technologists to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for non-life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced clinic. In this role, you will perform X-ray exams, ensure accurate patient positioning, follow ALARA radiation safety standards, and document results in EMR systems. You'll work closely with providers and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment, while offering compassionate, clear communication to diverse patients. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams following physician orders and safety protocols
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and obtain informed consent
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment for optimal image quality
• Apply radiation safety standards, including proper shielding and exposure limits
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms
• Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed patient records in EMR systems
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support urgent care workflow
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond according to clinic protocols
• Ensure infection control and cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Participate in quality assurance, continuing education, and process improvement
