Radiology Technician

Baptist Urgent Care is seeking Radiology Technicians to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. In this role, you will perform X-ray exams, verify orders, and ensure accurate imaging to support timely diagnosis and treatment. You will position and prepare patients, prioritize safety and radiation protection, and maintain imaging equipment. Working closely with providers and clinical staff, you'll deliver compassionate care, educate patients, and uphold Baptist Urgent Care's values of integrity, empathy, and community-focused service within a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams (X-ray) per provider orders
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety
• Follow radiation safety standards and maintain equipment quality
• Verify patient identity and medical history before procedures
• Accurately document and upload images to PACS/EMR systems
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff for timely care
• Explain procedures and provide compassionate patient support
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards
