Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Radiology Tech to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare, position, and reassure patients to obtain high-quality images while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Apply radiation safety and protection practices for patients, self, and staff, following all regulatory and institutional standards
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain radiology equipment and imaging systems, reporting issues and assisting with basic troubleshooting
  • Capture, evaluate, and transmit images via PACS, ensuring image quality and accurate patient and exam data entry
  • Document procedures, technical factors, and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record and related systems
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other care team members to support timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Assist with contrast studies as appropriate, and monitor patients for adverse reactions, escalating concerns promptly
  • Adhere to infection prevention, patient identification, and safety protocols in all aspects of radiology practice
  • Participate in ongoing education, competency validation, and quality improvement initiatives within the radiology department
