Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a CT/Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality CT and diagnostic radiology exams in our patient-centered Healthcare & Medical Services department. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, follow ALARA principles, and collaborate closely with radiologists and clinicians to support accurate diagnoses. Responsibilities include patient preparation and education, safe contrast administration, image quality assessment, and thorough documentation in the EHR. Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT and general radiology imaging studies following physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Operate CT scanners and radiographic equipment safely, optimizing image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA)
  • Verify patient identity, explain procedures, obtain consent, and position patients to ensure comfort and diagnostic accuracy
  • Review images for diagnostic adequacy and collaborate with radiologists to clarify orders and address clinical questions
  • Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record and maintain accurate imaging and dose records
  • Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Assist with contrast administration, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and escalate concerns promptly
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and report issues with imaging equipment; support QA and accreditation processes
  • Participate in shift coverage, on-call rotations, and cross-coverage within radiology as needed
