Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class-A CDL tractor and tanker for regional bulk chemical deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings
- Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations at all times
- Handle loading and unloading of liquid chemical cargo using pumps, hoses, and fittings
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip records, and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminals, and customers on load status
- Follow proper procedures for hazardous materials handling and emergency response
- Ensure equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules while managing hours-of-service limits
- Represent Quality Carriers professionally with strong customer service
