Registered Nurse PRN

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on an as-needed basis across assigned units
• Perform assessments, document care, and follow physician orders and care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Educate patients and families on treatment, medications, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and comply with regulatory standards
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and Methodist Health System policies
• Demonstrate flexibility in assignments, shifts, and patient populations as needed
• Participate in ongoing training, competency checks, and quality improvement initiatives
