Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our Laboratory Services team. Our mission is to provide top-tier healthcare across Texas, and our lab services play a crucial role in diagnosing and improving patient outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us uphold the highest standards of care and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analyses of body fluids such as blood and urine using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases.
• Enter data from analysis of medical tests and clinical results into computer for storage.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis.
• Prepare standard volumetric solutions or reagents to be combined with specimens.
• Manage laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss and evaluate patient test results.
