Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with Methodist Health System protocols and faith-based values
  • Perform assessments, deliver treatments, and document care accurately in the electronic health record
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient status and participate in rapid response or emergency interventions
  • Support unit workflow by flexibly covering shifts and patient assignments based on PRN needs
  • Participate in ongoing training, competency validation, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Uphold organizational mission, diversity, and integrity in daily practice
