PRN Clinician

Methodist Health System seeks a PRN clinician to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care within our faith-based, mission-driven network in North Texas. In this flexible role, you will perform assessments, administer treatments, and document care accurately while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. You will educate patients and families, support quality and safety initiatives, and respond to changing patient needs. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with Methodist Health System protocols and faith-based values
• Perform assessments, deliver treatments, and document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and participate in rapid response or emergency interventions
• Support unit workflow by flexibly covering shifts and patient assignments based on PRN needs
• Participate in ongoing training, competency validation, and quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
• Uphold organizational mission, diversity, and integrity in daily practice
