George J Hayden Inc DBA Hayden Power Group is seeking a Commercial / Industrial Electrician to join our full-service electrical contracting team. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot power, lighting, and control systems on commercial and industrial projects, interpreting blueprints and ensuring work complies with NEC and company safety standards. Working in a family-oriented, safety-first culture, you'll handle conduit, panels, switchgear, and equipment hookups while mentoring apprentices. Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics to plan layout and installation
  • Install and bend conduit, pull wire, and set panels, switchgear, and distribution equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, performing corrective repairs to minimize downtime
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company safety standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and team members to meet project schedules and quality standards
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment at customer facilities
  • Document work performed, materials used, and communicate job status to supervisors and clients
  • Mentor and support apprentices and junior electricians in proper techniques and safety practices
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and company tools/vehicles
