Machine Operator

Agru America Inc., a leader in engineered geosynthetics and plastic piping systems, is seeking a Machine Operator for a 12-hour rotating day shift at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor production equipment to safely produce high-quality plastic liners and piping components. Responsibilities include adjusting machine settings, performing routine quality checks, documenting production data, and supporting basic troubleshooting and changeovers. You will work in a safety- and quality-focused culture with opportunities to learn specialized processes and grow within a stable, innovative manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion and related production equipment on a 12-hour rotating day shift
• Set up machines, load raw materials, and adjust operating parameters per production specifications
• Perform in-process quality checks, measurements, and visual inspections to ensure product conformity
• Record production data, downtime, and quality results in logs or computer systems
• Assist with basic troubleshooting, changeovers, and routine equipment cleaning
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use, housekeeping, and lockout/tagout where applicable
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance on equipment issues and production priorities
• Package, label, and stage finished products for storage or shipment
• Support continuous improvement, 5
• S, and waste reduction initiatives on the production floor
• Work collaboratively with team members across shifts to maintain consistent quality and output
