Senior Swim Instructor

Team Sheeper Inc. seeks a Senior Level Swim Instructor to lead high-quality swim instruction for children and adults in our community-focused aquatics programs. In this role, you will design and deliver progressive lessons, refine stroke technique, and ensure a safe, positive learning environment for all abilities. You will mentor junior instructors, support program planning, and communicate with families to track progress and goals. Ideal candidates bring advanced teaching or coaching experience, strong safety awareness, and a passion for promoting health, confidence, and lifelong enjoyment of swimming in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach progressive swim lessons for children and adults at varying skill levels
• Ensure participant safety through vigilant supervision and adherence to aquatics safety protocols
• Evaluate swimmers' abilities and track progress toward individual goals
• Provide clear technique feedback and stroke correction to improve efficiency and confidence
• Communicate regularly with parents and participants regarding progress and program details
• Mentor and support junior instructors, modeling best practices and professional conduct
• Assist with scheduling, class placement, and program coordination as needed
• Respond effectively to pool emergencies and administer first aid/CPR when required
• Maintain orderly class flow, positive behavior management, and inclusive participation
• Support Team Sheeper's community-focused, health-conscious culture in all interactions
