Automotive Technician

Sarasota Ford is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our high-performing service team. In this full-time role, you'll diagnose and repair Ford and other vehicles, perform maintenance, and complete multi-point inspections while ensuring safety and quality standards. You'll use factory scan tools, follow OEM procedures, and document all work clearly. Collaborate with advisors and parts staff to deliver a customer-first experience. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Ford and other vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and fluid services
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings accurately
• Use OEM and dealership diagnostic tools and follow factory repair procedures
• Collaborate with service advisors and parts department to ensure timely, accurate repairs
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with all safety standards
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications
