Automotive Technician

Promotive is hiring an experienced A/B Automotive Technician for a professional, client-focused shop. In this full-time role, you'll diagnose and repair engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems, using modern diagnostic equipment. You'll perform scheduled maintenance, complete accurate repair documentation, and collaborate with service staff to deliver reliable, on-time work. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems including engine, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, inspections, and tire services to manufacturer standards
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Document work performed, parts used, and repair recommendations accurately in shop systems
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure timely, high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance
• Stay current with evolving automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing learning
