CDL A Truck Driver

STG Logistics is seeking a local CDL A Truck Driver starting at $31.26/hr. In this role, you'll handle local containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, accurate logs, and following all DOT and company safety standards. You'll work closely with dispatch and terminal teams in a performance-driven, safety-first culture with opportunities to grow in intermodal and drayage logistics within a fast-growing national network.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers for local pick-up and delivery of containerized freight
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
• Follow all DOT, safety, and company compliance standards and procedures
• Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and terminal staff for on-time pickups and deliveries
• Secure and verify freight, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of containers
• Provide professional customer service at ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers
• Report equipment issues, delays, and incidents promptly to dispatch or operations
• Support a performance-driven, safety-first culture and participate in safety meetings and training
