CDL A Truck Driver

Drive dedicated local routes hauling containers between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers, returning home daily. You'll perform safe, efficient pick ups and deliveries, conduct pre and post trip inspections, and follow all DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor trailer on local routes hauling containers and freight
• Perform pre trip and post trip inspections and complete required logs and documentation
• Follow DOT, company, and terminal safety policies and procedures at all times
• Coordinate with dispatch for efficient routing, scheduling, and on time deliveries and pickups
• Secure and verify loads, check bills of lading, and report any issues or delays promptly
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers
• Maintain clean, well kept equipment and promptly report maintenance needs
• Comply with hours of service regulations and electronic logging requirements
