CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers on local routes, following all DOT and company safety regulations
• Pick up and deliver containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and customer facilities
• Complete accurate logs, bills of lading, and electronic documentation for each load
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after trips and report maintenance needs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customers to ensure on-time service
• Secure loads in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Follow route plans, schedules, and yard procedures to maximize efficiency
• Support a performance-driven, safety-first culture and represent STG professionally
