Responsibilities include safe operation, pre/post-trip inspections, accurate paperwork, and professional customer service. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A truck for local pick-ups and deliveries safely and on time
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is roadworthy
• Handle containerized freight at ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers
• Follow all DOT, company safety, and hours-of-service regulations
• Complete required logs, manifests, and electronic documentation accurately
• Coordinate with dispatch and terminal staff to optimize routes and schedules
• Secure loads properly and verify freight counts and condition
• Provide professional customer service at all delivery and pick-up locations
• Report incidents, mechanical issues, and delays promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
