HVAC Residential Service Tech

Florida Home Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Residential Service Tech to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems in Jacksonville homes. In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you'll run service calls, diagnose system issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and clearly explain solutions to homeowners. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners
• Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and system tune-ups
• Install replacement components, thermostats, filters, and related HVAC equipment
• Explain findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to homeowners
• Provide courteous in-home service, protecting customer property and maintaining cleanliness
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software
• Follow safety procedures, codes, and company standards on every job
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to manage daily service schedule
• Support continuous improvement through training and sharing technical knowledge
