Service Tech Residential HVAC

Florida Home Air Conditioning seeks a Residential HVAC Service Tech to install, troubleshoot, and repair heating and cooling systems in homes across Jacksonville, FL. In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you'll diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and recommend solutions that improve comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. You'll interact directly with homeowners, explain findings, and deliver courteous in-home service. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on residential HVAC systems
• Install and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components
• Conduct system start-ups, testing, and performance tuning for energy efficiency
• Respond to scheduled and emergency homeowner service calls in a timely manner
• Explain repair options, maintenance recommendations, and system operation to customers
• Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately
• Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company quality standards
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, organized condition
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to prioritize and complete daily workload
• Promote maintenance plans and additional services that improve home comfort
