Veteran Program Coordinator

Action Health Staffing seeks a Veteran Program Coordinator to connect military veterans with meaningful healthcare and home care opportunities across North Carolina. In this role, you will recruit, onboard, and support veteran caregivers, match them with hospitals, clinics, and home care assignments, and serve as a key liaison between veterans, clients, and our internal team. You'll provide outreach, career coaching, orientation, and ongoing check-ins, ensuring smooth placements, strong communication, and a supportive, compassionate experience for both veterans and the patients they serve.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and engage military veterans for healthcare and home care roles
• Match veteran caregivers with appropriate client assignments across NCCoordinate onboarding, orientation, and compliance documentation
• Provide ongoing support, check-ins, and career guidance to veterans
• Build relationships with hospitals, clinics, and home care clients
• Conduct outreach to veteran communities, bases, and support organizations
• Track placements, performance, and retention metrics for the program
• Collaborate with internal staffing teams to fill open shifts and roles
• Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking and scheduling systems
• Promote a compassionate, professional culture aligned with Action Health Staffing values
