CDL Driver

PODS is hiring a CDL Driver to safely deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this field-based role, you'll operate CDL trucks, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure and position containers using lift systems, and strictly follow DOT and company safety standards. You'll interact directly with customers, provide professional on-site service, solve basic service issues, and coordinate with dispatch and operations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL vehicle to deliver and pick up PODS containers for residential and commercial customers
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
• Secure containers and loads according to DOT and company safety standards
• Provide courteous, professional on-site customer service and resolve basic service issues
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to traffic and weather conditions
• Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding route status, delays, and issues
• Operate lift systems and related equipment to position containers safely and accurately
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Report vehicle maintenance needs and coordinate service with fleet/maintenance teams
• Assist with yard organization, container staging, and other logistics tasks as needed
